Really enjoyed our stay at The Swan. Stayed one night before a wedding- staff were super friendly and helpful, our room was extremely comfortable, breakfast was excellent and we really appreciated the on site parking. Will definitely recommend to friends.

A quick stop by Tarporley

A very regal building which has been laid out allowing for an open feel but generally giving a warm pub like feel which was nice. Lovely food for both dinner and breakfast. Great team at the hotel, very welcoming.

We stayed for a wedding close by. Lovely pub/inn. The bedroom in the courtyard was small, but comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bathroom has seen better days. The breakfast (an additional cost) was outstanding and very, very good value. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

A favourite now

We like this high street hotel in Tarpoley which is a beautiful village close to the golf course where we play with friends. The restaurant on site is very good and the rooms very comfortable. If noise is a problem for you though, ask for a room away from the front of the hotel.

Weekend solo stay

Nice hotel with nice food, but it is a working pub, so expect a bit of noise on Friday and Saturday evenings. Room clean. Serving staff a little disorganised at times, but very friendly.

Always good even if a little chaotic at times...... Friendly bar service..... Keep and eye out for Josh and Aime - 1st class!... Food in the restaurant is very good. Breakfast can be a long wait if you catch them at the wrong time.

Really outstanding option for us as a family - huge room we could all share in the centre of a beautiful village. Hotel has loads of charm and character + we loved the decor in the room and the public areas. Good atmosphere in the bar area downstairs and the breakfast was epic. Would highly recommend the Swan and we will return.
