The location couldn’t be better—right off the highway, across the street from the beach, and walking distance to everything we needed. The venue itself is beautiful, with comfortable beds, a great resort pool and hot tub, and complimentary beach chairs and bike rentals that made our stay even better. "A very wonderful hotel for those who can appreciate it’s vibe. If you are looking for a specific franchised environment … this may not be the place for you. Good bar, very good restaurant. Bring your swimsuit as the pool is amazing, and heated! Fun to have a few guest pooches to pet as you sip your ice tea or cocktail on the outdoor patio, or your private patio just outside of your room. Lots of food options nearby. The only “thing,” which I wasn’t expecting, was to have my bed for the night be a fold-out couch. I had a reservation for a room with a bed but got in late (yes, airline delay) to find the only room left was a “living room” with a couch-bed. It was okay for a night. If you MUST have a bed and are coming in late, call ahead and tell them … or you may end up with what they have left."
