"We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The prices in Santa Barbara are very high, and we were hoping to stay on the beach. However, the reviews for this hotel were excellent so we decided to try it. Totally worth it. The front desk was so friendly, check in was a breeze at 3pm on a Friday. They do happy hours with cookies and wine and sangria. The room was spacious, which is hard to find in Santa Barbara. Bed was very comfortable. We rented a DVD from the front desk which was very nostalgic. The hot tub and pool were clean. The location was easily walkable from downtown. We would definitely stay here again. The resorts on the waterfront are overrated and over priced, your only view is of the street and crowds of people anyways, I recommend you stay here instead."
