East Beach Hotels, Santa Barbara

"This was a short overnight trip for my son and me. We enjoyed our stay at Inn by the Harbor because it was a very beautiful hotel. It was small but the patio area was beautiful. Our room also had a very cute and well stocked kitchen which sadly we did not use. The bedroom and bathroom were a very comfortable size. There were also restaurants with in walking distance! Next time I want to go with my husband!"

"I don't know where to start on this one. The property is basically an old Best Western, that had a lick of paint applied to it. So if you want to experience Motel 6 level of property with Marriott pricing this is the right spot. Huge holes by the door (door looks like it was last swapped in 90's), holes where old paintings used to hang, broken bathroom fans, draft under the door. exposed flooring joints. The remodel was done by someone who has clearly has never done one and the amount of investment was negligible. This is probably the first time I felt like writing a review like this because I felt like I was completely ripped off and a switch a bait was done. The outside of the property btw, also doesn't look it was updated at all either. I would not recommend to stay here at all. If you want a Marriott find a real one not this Found Garbage by Marriott. "

"I don’t liked the sheets bed"

"This was the first time I have ever felt deceived by pictures of an establishment. We walked into our room which was the size of a walk-in closet. Lighting was odd with a blinding white light in the bathroom. Cleanliness was...interesting. My pillowcase had blood stains all over it and the bottom of the shower looked like it has not been cleaned in awhile. We wish the pool was heated. Location and staff were great. "

"The inn was clean and had everything one might need. Frig, coffee maker, plenty of outlets for electronics, safe for valuables, nice complimentary continental breakfast and good security (need key to access room hallway which also accessed the room. It was a little noisy (seemed popular with young families), we lucked out with a bad mattress and the parking was full. This was probably due to a full house… no vacancy. That staff was very courteous and helpful. They did advise that if it was too noisy, just call the front desk to address the issue. But it’s hard to ask parents to restrain young children. The inn was centrally located to everything, so that’s a plus. We basically needed a safe clean place to spend a few nights and they were provided. "

"Although a bit run down, the rooms were clean and had a fun mid-century style; coffee and pastries were nice to have in the morning. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"Great room and all staff was great. Only recommendation, clean cobwebs in room. There were 3 and all had a live spider."

"Not as nice as I expected. The smell as the hotel was not great. The room was less than ideal. For a room that should accommodate 4 people, there was no where to hang bath towels. The shower curtain was not waterproof and did not come down long enough to keep water inside the tub so the entire bathroom floor was always soaked. Shower had no water pressure. The bottom sheets on the beds were not large enough to tuck in so you found yourself with just a mattress pad and no bottom sheet by morning. The temperature in the room was locked so the room was hot and uncomfortable overnight. Overall, we stayed at this hotel for the location but will not look to stay here again nor recommend this hotel to others."
