"This hotel is about an hour out of Berlin but the bus and S Bahn connections are very good. The hotel is clean the staff pleasant to deal with. "Easily the best value of any stay I’ve had in Europe. Was quoted an extremely generous rate and was cringing after learning it was right by a major tourist hub (Checkpoint Charlie) but between the charming hostess who welcomed me; the spacious and immaculate room (with excellent TV selection) and convenient location, this (and probably Select hotels generally) is a keeper. If I had any quibble, it would be the lack of wake up calls on offer…the first two nights I literally slept through my phone’s alarm, the bed was so comfortable."
