"Breakfast was adequate"

"Parking was fine. Hotel is a little bit hidden. Water in Slidell is off, but better than it was 45 years ago! Hotel was fine- great price. Breakfast had lots of options- all good. "

"I hate New Orleans but we had to make a trip there for reasons not relevant here. We stayed in Slidell for a couple nights so we could get in and out of the area without dealing with the worst of the horrible traffic in New Orleans. Hotel was clean and staff was nice. Parking lot is a bit tight if you have a large vehicle, but we were always able to find a spot. We didn't get a chance to check out the breakfast, but when we left early the coffee was already made (HUGE PLUS; thank you morning shift !!!). The real gem was being just down the street (restraunt is on the same back street as the hotel) from a Mexican restraunt that is AWESOME!!! They have dine in & carry out (we dined in but there was so much food we took two FULL boxes of leftovers when we left). I don't think I've ever had better mexican food. All in all a good stay. **only suggestion would be for them to upgrade thier tv package. there wasn't much to watch when we were at the hotel and we had no desire to explore the area; wanted to get out of the crappy New Orleans area as soon as humanly possible**"

"This would be my last option. The ride was 39 minutes to the French quarter. There is a few gas stations and McDonald’s, Taco Bell and Wendy’s near by. Less than 3 blocks. Right off the interstate. The price is cheap but maybe not worth it if your visiting the French quarters daily."

"Bathroom not very clean, very few outlets. The breakfast choices were very limited. For a single bed room at over $100 was well overpriced."
