A quaint and charming town. Abita Brewing Company is about 2.5 miles away. We met some friendly locals that love their town and had many local recommendations.

Covington is a quaint lovely area. Not many hotels that are worth writing home about. Covington is north of New Orleans, you won't need to worry about crime and such as it is in the City of New Orleans. Stay in Covington and drive into the City.

I used to live in Covington. Not crazy about the state of Louisiana and the major highway that goes through Covington Highway 190 is always a pain to get around with but Covington does have a lot of pretty much everything you want close by.

I love covington i grew up here moved to Florida made my stay here to visit fam not aware how beat down it was.
"The hotel property was very well kept, and the staff was excellent. I had a small emergency when I realized I forgot my phone charger. Around 10 p.m., I called the front desk to see if they sold any. The friendly lady at the front desk informed me they didn't. But she kindly offered to lend me her personal charger instead. She mentioned she’d be working the night shift and asked me to return it once my phone was fully charged.
Unfortunately, I accidentally fell asleep and woke up at 3 a.m. in a panic, worried she might think I didn’t intend to return it. I rushed it back down to the front desk — and to my relief, she wasn’t even upset.
This small but meaningful act of kindness was just one of the many things that made my overnight stay memorable. Truly great service!"
"The staff was friendly and the room was clean except for the mini fridge but all I put in there was a bottle of coke so it was no big deal. We slept good and the free breakfast was good as well, everything was fresh. "
