"We stayed at this property when visiting Puerto Rico last week. Beautiful hotel/resort. Everyone at the hotel was so friendly and helpful. The views from every angle were gorgeous and I loved the infinity pool. Our room was perfect and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The best part about my stay at this hotel was the staff. There was always someone eager to help me and guide me in the right direction. Carlos, especially at the pool bar made my time so much enjoyable with friendly conversation. I was not impressed with the quality of the room the balconies could have been cleaned a little bit more and Nicer furniture. They’re also was no room service and no restaurant in the hotel itself that was accessible after 6 PM I believe. If you book through Expedia, it tells you you have a $50 day credit but make sure you mention it to them and or if you have the free breakfast. The breakfast is not in the hotel you have to cross the street, which is inconveniencing. The area is really nice and convenient in a walkable distance to a lot. Old San Juan is down the street and the Tmobile district with about a 15 minute walk. I most likely would not stay again if it was not for the staff."

"We loved every minute of our stay at El Colonial. Because we booked through Expedia (we think?), we had access to the unlimited open bar in reception, but the main perk of that was the bartenders! Friendly, knowledgeable, interesting -- talking to the bartenders and hearing about PR was literally the highlight of our trip. Also, wonderfully, the way the light hit our particular room meant that, in the mornings, there was a camera obscura projection of the street outside onto our roof! 100/10 (because of the staff!)"
