Lovely breakfast and great location for exploring.

Room was tidy and the staff friendly. Pub was cosy and the food was excellent. If im in the area again i would definitely look to come back again
If you are looking for a spot that has character this, is it, it was a cozy old place above a pub. We went in the off season, so we had the place to ourselves. Nice little bookshelf filled with some fun activities to pass extra time off devices too! The food in the pub was not great for the price we paid, but the breakfast was amazing!

Just had a lovely two nights here and will definitely be back. Food was great with a good choice menu and the breakfast was amazing!
Staff were lovely and friendly and you could really feel that this was a happy ship! Rooms lovely and clean too
Thank you to all and hope to see you again soon
Lovely hospitality. Excellent food. Best duvet nice and warm duvet I have had when traveling. They go above and beyond to accommodate guests. Perfect get away for some quiet time in a traditional old pub in a small village walking distance from the train station. Right next to multiple hiking paths to famous hill tops.

What a lovely cosy, friendly place to stay. A good choioce for breakfast (full English was delicious using local ingredients) in the dining area with the log fire on.
The staff are so nice and really make you feel welcome. Plenty of free parking outside accomodation and lots of walks nearby. Thankyou for an enjoyable weekend break.

Breakfast was fantastic - fresh fruit and lovely cooked breakfast. Staff were lovely. On the downside - the mattress was so soft it sunk straight down to the divan below; also the bathroom needed a dust and clean (skirtings/doors etc)

Cheshire Cheese, Eden Road.
Great stay in the heart of the Peak District. Friendly service, great food and excellent beers.
Friendly staff, great food fantastic overnight stay for young / old couples who want to wake up with the countryside at there frontdoor. Amazing night was had by all
It was amazing, the staff were really helpful, the breakfast was a showstopper every morning. I loved our stay. Right near by everything you need: a babbling brook, a lively local village, and Loose Hill.
Quaint pub serving great ales the food was absolutely delicious huge plates full of great food. We could not finish it all. Breakfast was amazing great local fresh produce set us up for the day Would recommend staying here
It was a friendly place to stay with extremely good food especially the breakfasts. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities excellent. It was in a lovely village, with pleasant people in the coffee shops, and a nice walk near the church with a river and horses in a field. only a few minutes away from Castleton too.
Very enjoyable stay at The Cheshire Cheese Inn, staff were very helpful and friendly. We had the evening meal and the food quality was excellent and the service great. Nothing was too much trouble and the team chatted to us throughout the evening. Breakfast the following morning was top notch (my particular favourites being the sausage and bacon). I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay in this wonderful establishment if you’re ever in the area,
It was a lovely stay. The room was amazing. Very roomy and nice and warm as it was a very cold weekend. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was good. The breakfasts was so good.
Great location. Friendly landlord offering tips on best places for walks etc. Good breakfast. Room quite cosy but bathroom could do with an update and better window insulation.
