"There was one time the world cafe took a long time to seat me, when the restaurant wasn’t full and I didn’t have much time. That was my only complaint thus far, other than that, maybe more cabs should be available to get from the beach to the gym."

"An Amazing and Truly Pleasant Stay at TRS Yucatán Our stay at the TRS Yucatán Hotel was absolutely amazing and one of the most pleasant vacations we have ever had. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The Expedia representative Fernanda García Pichardo who helped us with the booking did a wonderful job making the entire process smooth and easy, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our time at this incredible resort. Thanks to her incredible efforts, we truly experienced the stay of a lifetime. Everything was smooth, stress-free, and beautifully organized—from the booking to our arrival and throughout our stay. The TRS Yucatán is an amazing property, and she made sure we were able to enjoy it to the fullest without worrying about a single thing. The hotel itself is outstanding. The food was excellent with so many delicious options, and every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and high quality. The service throughout the resort was truly unbelievable—staff members were attentive, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The beach was absolutely beautiful: clean, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The overall atmosphere of the resort was luxurious yet comfortable, making it easy to unwind and feel completely taken care of. "This was our fourth or fifth stay at this resort. Since our previous visit was over ten years ago, we expected some post-Covid decline in service and quality, as has been common across many mid-range resorts. We were pleasantly surprised that Bahia Principe in Riviera Maya has largely avoided this. The food remains plentiful and just as good as it was 15 years ago, and the staff is as friendly as ever. Beyond the human factor, the location is excellent, with easy access to nearby ruins in Tulum and worthwhile trips to Cobá and Chichén Itzá. Three people in particular made our stay even better. Nathaneal upgraded us to a lovely renovated room. Rosaura and Leidy stood out among an already strong buffet restaurant team for their attentiveness — from remembering our usual order to noticing when my wife missed dinner one evening and asking after her when I arrived alone (she was unwell). These gestures are small, but kind, and they add a welcome human touch to an otherwise fleeting guest–staff relationship."

"The rooms were extremely clean, and room service daily. The staff very polite, the food was amazing especially dinners at night. Highly recommend this place and don’t forget to try out the late night tacos they offer."

"Room was great! Always clean and restocked with grab towels, beer, water! Staff at every bar was so friendly and helped out! Food was great. Never had a bad meal anywhere. Sometimes the main course portions are a little small but just order an appetizer or soup and you’re good. They cater to you when booking through Expedia compared to other companies. You get a different colour wristband and they know to look after you. I honestly wouldn’t book through another company knowing that. "

"Mindblown at the entire Xcaret property, hotel and parks. Was nervous about the cost but we left wishing we stayed longer. The hotel property is massive with so much to do and so many food choices. The room was clean and simple but with a wonderful view along with double hammocks and stoked snacks. Check in was simple and fast but do think something was missed along the way as we felt unprepared to tackle the enormous property with a lack of information at first from how to reserve restaurants to where the shuttles for the parks arrive. All reservation restaurants were also booked up for days in advance (our entire stay). However, none of the above was a deal breaker and we quickly got the flow with the interactive map on the app (very much needed) Overall highly recommend, just be prepared for a ton of walking and a slightly overwhelming amount of amenities and trying to find everything at first. "
