Retro styled home in Whitby, Wellington

Room for the extended family or a group trip with your friends, with 4 big bedrooms and multiple spaces for relaxing including a large outdoor entertaining area.

Heaps of entertainment to keep the kids occupied while Mum and Dad chill out. Seperate kids area with toys and books, Smart TVs with Disney+ and other movie apps preloaded, & the ability to log into your own streaming services. And a PS3!

Grass area for the kids to play and trees to climb

The space:
2 bedrooms with King size beds, and 2 that can be configured either as 2 King Singles or one California King. Please let us know your preference when booking.

The 4th bedroom downstairs can also be used as a seperate lounge, and contains a TV and the Playstation, perfect for the older kids to enjoy and have their own space. This space also contains the sofa bed which is the sleeping arrangement for guest numbers 9/10.

Heated by 2 big heatpumps upstairs, and a gas fire downstairs, the house is cosy warm on a cold day. Or run them on cooling if you need to escape the heat in summer!

A portacot with sheets is available on request

Note that the living space and most of the bedrooms are upstairs.

Guest access:
The whole house and backyard is yours to utilise and explore

Try out the reading nook with books to browse, or play boardgames or do a puzzle at the dining room table. Or light the outdoor fire and have a BBQ

Continental breakfast and cooking basics are provided:
Breakfast cereals, fruit, milk, coffee (Nespresso Machine), tea, hot chocolate, and bread for toast with spreads

Neighbourhood description:
Great cafes and local eateries, a dairy just a stones throw away and an abundance of walking tracks, close to beaches and other local attractions.

Whitby has a great network of walkways through bush to playgrounds and local amenities.

Wellington City is only 25 mins away, including Sky Stadium and the Beehive.

Royal New Zealand Police college is only a 7 min drive, also close to Pauatahanui Lodge and Gear Homestead wedding venues

Lovely and peaceful. Had everything we needed and plenty of space for the family.

Great location. Grocery close by, lovely walkable neighborhood. Property managers very responsive. Lovely yard. We had a couple of larger family gatherings (12 people) and was a great space for it. The playroom was a favorite place for our 4 year old guest!We would gladly stay here again, and since family is here, we will be back!

The property had everything we needed for a big group. Such a nice and accomodating home, very spacious and the outside area was definitely a highlight. Hosts are very lovely and had great communication, would definitely recommend and come back again.
