Parkview Lodge & Cabins

10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely wonderful stay at Parkview Lodge & Cabins! My boyfriend and I had such a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They were thoughtful enough to offer us extra towels and even provided water, which made us feel so well taken care of. What really stood out to us was how accommodating and helpful everyone was. We accidentally left my boyfriend’s pillow behind, and they were kind enough to agree to ship it all the way to us in Florida rather than simply leaving us to figure it out ourselves. That level of kindness and customer service is so rare and really says a lot about the people who run this place. The lodge and cabins made our stay feel comfortable, peaceful, and memorable. We’re so grateful for how warmly we were treated and would absolutely 100% recommend Parkview Lodge & Cabins to anyone visiting Avery County, North Carolina. We would happily stay here again! ❤️"

The Perch Cabin with Hot tub. Uncomparible Panoramic view!!

8/10 Good
"We loved our stay especially the view. Sitting on porch/hot tub was magical. Good location for supplies. Very clean, well equipped. Super host.Suggestions: cabin needs some definite freshening of furnishings. LR comfortable but coffee table/lamp obviously thrift store. BR needs full redo-very dark, tables chipped, lamps old with stained shades, close to needing new mattress (kind of sinks in center). Bed linens dark, dated. Bed from thrift store. All pictures throughout cabin need replaced except historic pic of cabin. Maybe a pretty centerpiece on table. Just needs brightening. Put in sturdy slider screens. Would appreciate foot rests with already very comfortable chrs on porch. Table w/umbrella on porch worked out well. Flower pots at entry needed to be lush/inviting. They just need consistent/good watering.Rick was a great host before/during our stay. In general it’s a lovely cabin just needs freshened."

Luxury Cabin: 3 Kings, Hot Tub, Fireplace, Lg Deck

10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time on our girls weekend trip to Banner Elk. The cabin was spacious, welcoming and clean. Unfortunately we did have issues with the hot tub. The control panel was not functioning so no jets. We notified the host who was quick to respond and have maintenance get it working but with it being the weekend everyone was off. It didn’t ruin our trip we still had a great time. We will definitely be back "

Creekside home with hot tub within 30 mins to Asheville

Creekside home with hot tub within 30 mins to Asheville

8/10 Good
"We loved the quietness of this neighborhood and the creek sound could be heard on the porch. Heather was great about communicating with us when we had a problem with the wifi/TV after a storm cut the power off for an hour...they helped us get it back running. All of the beds were very comfortable to all of us. My elderly Mom (82) was with us and I would advise anyone 65 and up if they have knee issues at all, they may have difficulties from where the driveway is to get up the slope to the front door and one of the 2 steps at the front porch is unusually high with no rails. I would stay again, just probably wouldn't bring Mom. Thanks."
