The Inn at Shady Lawn

10/10 Excellent

"Love it!"

Secluded Cabin On Peaceful 100+ Acres with hot tub!

10/10 Excellent

"Jim was a great host. The cabin was clean and homey. Any questions that I had he quickly had a response. The land is more beautiful than I even have words to describe. Whatever you do make sure you don't forget to look up stars. Couldn't have asked for a clearer night or a better view. And I definitely recommend 4wheel drive. Will definitely be looking to stay again in the future."

Spirit of the River, Direct River Access, Fire Pit, Fish, Swim, Grill, WiFi!

8/10 Good

"The cabin was exactly as pictured and wonderful, very clean and had more than enough starter supplies. The area around it looked like more of a yard in the pictures but you are right on the edge of the ridge, which was not a problem but there was some mowing/ trimming needed as it was rather high and over grown. The river access was a little surprising (that’s where 4x4 was a necessity) but the privacy and relaxation at the river was WELL worth it. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed the cabin and river ."

New red cedar log home just off the blue ridge parkway in Little Switzerland, NC

10/10 Excellent

"If you want quiet, rustic and "homey" this is the place for you! This place is nestled in a wooded area and definitely not on a paved road....just our style! The rustic looks and decor were perfect for our personal taste. The "worst" part of the stay was the lack of cell signal (we got 1 bar of 4g most of the time) but that didn't even bother us! We enjoyed being mostly disconnected for our stay. If you like being remote with the modern conveniences of lights & running water I HIGHLY recommend this place!"
