"The cabin was great. It’s in a beautiful area; there are houses around, but very little noise or traffic. The hosts were communicative and easy to work with. I want to come back to see all the rhododendrons in bloom. "

"We had a wonderful week at the cabin! The whole house was neat and clean when we arrived; it was very cozy and inviting. The sleeping areas were spacious and the beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. The coffee maker and the Keurig were especially appreciated!The kids loved the swing set and the movie collection. In the evenings it was lovely to put on a movie and work on a puzzle or play one of the board games that were provided. We had wonderful weather and took advantage of the porches and patio table to sit outside and enjoy a meal or a book.It was a perfect location for exploring the town of Black Mountain - and it was close to numerous walking and hiking trails. There was good information in the cabin about local trails - we especially liked the Catawba Falls hike and the trails around Warren Wilson College. The cabin was also a convenient drive to Asheville where we spent a day exploring.We absolutely hope to come back someday. There are still many places we would love to explore in the area and when we do we would choose to stay at this cabin again!"

The location was very easy to find and close to town, but in a quiet neighborhood. We also enjoyed the lake, golf, basketball courts etc. We will look for another opportunity to stay here in the future."

"Breakfast offered only packaged muffins and/or coffee. Internet access was "spotty". The staff was kind and offered assistance when needed. Parking was good. Conveniently located to historic downtown Black Mountain. Good value."
