"We had a great time while at the cozy cabin. Very clean and well prepared. Communication with the host was always prompt and personable. The location was very easy to find and close to town, but in a quiet neighborhood. We also enjoyed the lake, golf, basketball courts etc. We will look for another opportunity to stay here in the future."

"Breakfast offered only packaged muffins and/or coffee. Internet access was "spotty". The staff was kind and offered assistance when needed. Parking was good. Conveniently located to historic downtown Black Mountain. Good value."

"Our room was in the carriage house. The room itself was very nice, looked down to a side street below. Street noise subsided after about 9 o'clock at night. Next time I will book a room on the backside of the building, away from the street. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Green Escape. Tom was the quintessential host and anticipated our every need. He greeted us when we arrived, carried our luggage in for us, and gave us a tour of the property. Both the fridge and kitchen were well stocked with lots of snacks and breakfast treats. We didn't have to worry about going out for breakfast while we were there. Tom shared his love of plants with us, and was even willing to give us some starts from a few of his plants! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a nice, relaxing weekend. "
