"Loved the location of the cabin. Very clean and almost everything we wanted. We were warned the Hot Tub was broken and were given a refund for that. It would have been nice, but was not essential to our trip. What was essential was the view of the creek. A huge branch had fallen from the side of the house to the second deck level, and we were very disappointed it was not cleared before we got there. Now we didn't call because we were sure they would not have cleared it before we left and was a large request to have done so. Other than that, I loved the house and all that went with it. Bed arrangements were great and very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and the coffee maker was perfect. It might just be the perfect place to enjoy and with hopes we will stay again and the issues are fixed"

"The cabin was beautiful with all amenities you’d need. Everything seemed like new…the beds, living room furniture, kitchen was immaculate. The Kitchen was stocked, plenty of towels, games, grill, and the hot tub was a hit. It was very private and peaceful. I would definitely come back. "

"The only problem I encountered was that because I booked third party, they weren't flexible with my request to allow my cousin to check in on my behalf becauseI was running late and she needed to get dressed before the wedding. I had to stop, respond to the email request before she was allowed in the room. She drove over 3 hrs. and I drove over 5 hrs. and had lost 1 hrs. because I was coming from TN."

1885 Farmhouse Luxuriously Renovated: Animals & Antiques

"This property is set back off the main road up on a hill that is surrounded by a mature hardwood forest. The area is quiet and provides for a very relaxing environment. The house has a lot of well thought out charm and character. It is thoughtfully decorated with various antiques and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are two gas fireplaces and the main fireplace has a mantle that's fashioned from one of the original beams in the house. The kitchen is fantastic with new appliances and a gorgeous copper farmers sink. The upstairs bedroom with the king bed was my favorite. The bed was very comfortable, there was a sitting room and then the bathroom was unbelievable. Two vanities, a beautiful soaking tub, and a really cool shower with 3 different shower heads made it very spa-like. Overall, the property, the hosts, and close proximity to Banner Elk made our stay very memorable. We will be back."
