Very clean hotel. Room was huge with a great view. Staff were very friendly and attentive and consistently provided plenty of clean towels. Shower pressure was fantastic. Grocery store and casual/take out dining within walking distance of hotel. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location and very attentive staff. Fixtures are a little dated, but still functional.

A really comfortable property. Loved staff. Building is a bit quirky because it over 100 years old

Warm items at breakfast could improve especially the eggs.

The Spot is a fantastic place to stay overnight when catching the BC Ferries, which is what we did. Close to the Ferries, The Spot is excellent, from the greeting to our extra requirements (a kettle etc) all our needs were met! The room was comfortable, clean and the balcony and extra bonus to enjoy an easy meal. Lastly the bed was really comfortable. Best of all the welcome was genuine after many hours on the road from Torfno!

All good for the one night that we stayed in Nanaimo. Great restaurant in the hotel and staff friendly as well.
