The place was just great bed was comfortable nice clean sheets had a nice kitchen sofa. It was just great. I definitely stay there again. The bathroom amenities was surprisingly wonderful.

The Sea View Cottage was perfect. Suhail was a terrific help and his customer service skills were outstanding. I highly recommend the Buccaneer Inn. It is 3 mins from the ferry terminal and a 5 minute walk to a great pub/restaurant on the water. The beds were excellent, the living room was extremely comfortable and the house itself was quite large! Thank you!!

Loved our two night stay at this hotel! Friendly, helpful staff and an exceptionally clean room. Across from the motel is a boardwalk along the ocean channel. We strolled and enjoyed the boats and watched the seals. Will definitely stay again!

On the positive, mattresses were comfortable and made very nicely. Kitchen well equipped. On the less positive, If you are a light sleeper, don't select the bedroom facing the street, feels like cars are driving by in the same room. We had 5 guests but the dining room offered only 3 chairs. I wouldn't recommend turning on the fans, as the top of the blades were very dusty. Housekeeping only does surface cleaning. Pleasant stay overall. Would recommend to others.

We booked a cottage, it was very clean. And provided full set of utensils. The rooms are very cozy. We had a wonderful day staying there. I definitely will consider this place again for my next visits Nanaimo.😊

Note that the property is pretty old, so you will sleep in smells of mold/old wood/old sewage system etc for the night. Not too strong tho, tolerable considering the price and location. Otherwise the place was fine. Spacious room, helpful and friendly staff, 3 min drive away from Departure Bay, nice Harbour view, quiet, etc.
