"We were on the bottom floor and the window didn’t lock, so that was on my mind half the night."

"It was perfection! The room was so quiet and the view peaceful. The whirlpool hot tub in the little round log house was excellent with shower facilities on site. The staff was friendly and helpful, even printing out a map so we could easily find the restaurant recommended to us. Lots of variety for breakfast choices and plenty of good coffee. Loved the complimentary cookies on arrival."

"Breakfast was good. Room was ok. Had carpet and would rather not have it. Gives a dirty feeling. Had to go to a different floor for ice. Behind on supplying hand soap, etc in big containers. Very inconvenient. We’re good at tidying room and providing fresh towels 2nd day."

"The breakfast selection was fine but perhaps toast could be added to the offerings. There was jam and peanut butter, etc but no bread. The room was very clean and had all the necessities, includi g lots of nice, fresh towels. We did find the coffee machine placement a little awkward."

"This is a great motel. Everything is clean and you can see that they stay on top of their maintenance. Yes, the front of the hotel does border a busy road and I can't comment on the noise level in the rooms that look out on to the road, but we had a room at the back and we had a great night's sleep. The hotel staff are also friendly and accommodating."

"Nice family hotel. If you have 3 kids, the family room bunk beds are great. Breakfast decent. Pool always a hit with the kids. Welcoming friendly staff. On the downside, rooms were a bit noisy with creaky floors from upstairs neighbours and general hallway noise. But other than that, it has what you need to be comfortable."
