For a hotel that doesn’t have too much to offer we couldn’t even have a drink in the dining/lobby. We went to Paris Eiffel and it was night and day. We could eat in lobby with no issues plus all the staff was excellent. I won’t even speak about the room which was not clean daily. Nothing but excuses. I will never stay at this property AGAIN

Pros: Extremely convenient to Underground and busses. The actual hotel inside was very clean and well kempt. Cons: Area is very unsafe, dirty, and rife with homeless. Someone literally left a #2 on the sidewalk across the street, and homeless are camped in every corner, nook, and cranny. There was sputum literally all over the side walk, and people were camped outside of the station asking for money.

Biggest complaint was that the AC / Heat pump was not working. When I asked the receptionist if we could get a room that had a working AC they said none of the rooms have Air Conditioning…they have an “air cooling” system. Bottom line, room never got cooler than 78f

Noisy neighbours, TV that turned on itself several times during the night and air con that didn’t cool the room.. Given the cost of this hotel, I should have kicked up a fuss and asked for a refund but I was too tired when I left.

Good Basic Hotel
Hotel was very clean and not noisy. No problems with free wifi. However the bar and restaurant facilities are part of the hotel reception. So not the most salubrious area.to sit in but perfectly acceptable hotel for a short stay in stratford area.
