"Had a great stay found staff very friendly and helpful the room was clean, but tired. Work seems to have started painting and decorating, found breakfast just ok lacked a good coffee and some fresh fruit, would definitely go back though"

"Great place. A few minutes walk from the main lodge where you leave your car. There is a parking bay to unload your gear if required. Note there is no lift so not suitable if you have walking difficulties. Nice modern room with big bathroom. Tv is tiny"

"A once grand hotel now showing it's age, the exterior could do with renovating as it looks untidy on first impression. Walk in and the interior is so much better, the staff are excellent and our room was very good. This is good hotel to stay at, the only drawback being the walk up and down the hill to and from Scarborough itself, but we were very satisfied with our stay"

"We stayed in the small double as we knew we’d be early evening arrival. Reception staff were very cheerful, helpful and explained breakfast time. If you’d rather have your car in their car park definitely phone and do that as on street parking is good if you can get space. Breakfast is buffet style and is very good with continental and full English available. We will stay here again."

"This is an old hotel so quirky and a challenge to find your room, all fun though, very friendly staff - can't fault them. Parking is very limited and tight so go to long park across the road"
