"Reservation for 2 bedroom was made through Hotels.com and Barefoot Beach said they never got it. They had a free 1 bedroom but charged us for the original "reservation" they said they did not have. We said we would stay in the 1 bedroom for 3 nights but they charged us the 4th night of the lost reservation full price of 2 bedroom. One of desk clerks said they had upgraded software and had made lots of errors in credit card charges and reservations--although they blamed everything on Hotels.com. Barefoot Beach was deceitful the whole time. Check your credit card statements!!!!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo is sparkling clean and the complex is well maintained. Pool area and intracoastal dock are quiet and relaxing. It's a short walk across the street to the beach (vrbo lists it as oceanfront, but the owner's description is accurate). Trolley stops are convenient. Salt Rock Grill was nice for dinner and we also enjoyed a casual meal at Sharkys. Would definitely stay here again."

"The property was in need of good cleaning and the light bulbs were burnt out throughout the place, we had to buy replacements, The facet was not working properly along with both showers, Just needs some TLC from maintenance. Great location but need some work , In my opinion not worth what was spent. Will not stay there again"

"We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the only downfall was the construction and it is tolerable except the drilling construction on the balcony. Once the construction is complete I would highly recommend staying. The room was exactly as advertised and has an amazing view of the ocean. The building was kept clean and had onsite staff. The condo we were in was fully stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils. The check In and out process was also very easy.The host was also great and very communicative. Quick response times and answered all of our questions. They were upfront about the construction and we were well aware we would not have access to our balcony. We appreciated all the communication and learning early we wouldn’t have access to our balcony. The pool deck is also in a great location to get sun all day long and it is not so windy.We would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the construction."
