The restaurant food was excellent.

Easy 20 minute walk from station. Beautiful property..grounds very well maintained. We were upgraded to a suite ..simply stunning . Staff were friendly . Only negative restaurant was underwhelming..a little disappointing tables very close to others was expecting something more medieval.. Food was average . Scone in the library lovely but it was served cold ! I would definitely recommend you you stay a night a l9cely experience

This hotel had a great atmosphere even thought it had a very busy restaurant ( the food was great) and the staff went out of their way with any request that you had, the rooms are very modern and kept immaculately clean, very quiet even thought next to a busy road, would recommend it anyone that was looking to go there

It’s a lovely place with nice comfortable rooms, good service and excellent food. Also next to a field of curious cows… very sweet! A great stop over on the way north.

We really loved our stay at Bowes Incline. It sets a very high standard in all areas from staff friendliness, to the quality of finish in the rooms, their cleanliness and the quality of their food. We only wish that all of our stays were this good! The great experience started with the young lady on reception who was really friendly and helpful, and who doesn't love that liltting Geordie accent! The rooms have been well designed and simply styled with neutral colours. The food is outstanding,...

lovely place to stay if you’re visiting Durham. Good sized rooms in good condition and the pub downstairs plus a great breakfast

Excellent with a great restaurant

The rooms were really spacious. Beds comfortable but pillows were extremly hard and may need to be replaced. The sofa bed set up for our little girl was not that comfy and matress has probably seen better days. The facilities were fine a bit tired but functional. It would have been great to have a mini fridge in the room but there were tea and coffee making facilties. Breakfast was excellent and staff in the restaurant and check in were really friendly.

Top, great value hotel. Service was good. Thoughtful hotel...had everything in place such as fruit infused water at the lobby, shoe cleaning machines and ice machines. Breakfast was a standout.

What a lovely spot to stay. Just a short walk down to Millennium Bridge, Tyne River ect. From the moment we arrived the staff were delightful. From the maintenance man to reception. All our needs were catered for and Jason in particular was a ray of sunshine. Thank you Lisa Day

Spacious room and good facilities

Entire complex very smart, modern, clean and welcoming.

Great location, clean and safe.

Easy checkin. Excellent position. Room was clean with soft bed and great bathroom. 2 flights of stairs to get to room but they are easy to negotiate. Nice and quiet and is based above a well known restaurant with excellent food and service. Great stay and value for money.
