"Great little gem outside of Washington . Standard mercure hotel , all the usual amenities and breakfast. Will be using again when in the area"

"Hotel is located on the seafront and has beautiful views if you get a room at the front. Staff were friendly and check in was easy. Don’t forget to put your reg in at reception if staying there. Hotel has a bar, restaurant and leisure facility and close to restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious but are a bit outdated and need updating."

"Mucha limpieza en la habitación. El desayuno bueno. Muy atentas las personas de recepción y servicio. La habitación muy pequeña. Se escuchan muchos ruidos de otras habitaciones . El hotel está retirado de Durham y de Newcastle, sin embargo es una opción de mejor precio con respecto a los hoteles de Durham."

"Stayed for one night while visiting the theatre staff were very helpful to keep our bags until after our afternoon theatre show. Check in was easy and staff very friendly. Room was a good size loved the air con in the heatwave it was clean and tidy bed were comfy. Breakfast the next morning was lovely good range and all clean. Checked out staff kept our bags again while we went and did abit of shopping before our train home. Also liked the fact you needed your hotel room key to get back into the property at night which stops people just walking in during the middle of the night."
