"I was happily surprised by the hotel. Wasn’t expecting much. Staff at checking were helpful, could have been more clear about charges (breakfast and parking). We were a big group and had a great time. Lit from the restaurant and bar was very nice and helpful!! Breakfast was good"

"The hotel was a really good we were pleased with our choice particularly with other high ranking hotels in the mix! The staff were extremely warm, welcoming and helpful and the package we got made our stay extra special for our first wedding anniversary! The bar was nice and relaxed and a great range of drinks! We stayed breakfast but chose to have breakfast just one of the mornings initially so we could experience a breakfast in the centre of Cardiff. The breakfast was average and although we ordered our coffees none arrived - this was probably due to how busy it was. The breakfast we had the following day in Cardiff, although slightly more expensive, was delicious, fresh and promptly given. The location of the hotel was excellent! The pillows could be slightly more firm and it was noisy at times in the night due to other guests. Other than these minor things, we had a great time! Thank you 😊 "

"Hotel was lovely modern but with an old school twist. Pianist in the bar, silverware on the breakfast tables and impeccable service by the wonderful staff. Enjoyed our stay, lovely waterfront position. Great food in the river Grille and fabulous cocktails on Ricks. "

"Parking was a bit difficult due to the hills, however everything else was perfect. Friendly staff, close to high street and beach, perfect location for any Gavin and Stacey fans as close to all the hot spots. "

"The room was clean and the toiletries were easily accessible and lovely to use. There was a good choice for breakfast. Staff were very friendly but slow to clear the used plates and cutlery. The bar was very busy and quite noisy but good choice of beverages "

"Staff was wonderful. The hotel is dated and tired. The floors needed new carpet and regrouping in our room. Housekeeping was just meh. Food was great. Location is great and I did like the apartment feel of home. The pool/spa/gym is outstanding."

"I was really pleased to get this hotel, not only to find it so close to the airport but also because of the friendly staff, clean and well appointed bedroom and bathroom and the delicious fresh buffet breakfast which was inclusive in the price). Highly recommend it if arriving or departing from Bristol Airport."
