"Lovely property, very spacious double bedroom with jacuzzi bath. The bath filters needed cleaning as left some residue in the bath when turned on and the blind on the door was broken, but it was shut so that wasn’t terrible and neither detracted from our stay. Loved the room. Very clean and spacious. No smart tv so couldn’t watch Netflix or Disney. The only thing that lets the place down is the breakfast. "Could be a 3 star with a little more attention. Toilet roll sheets only suit nursery children - far too small. Bar manager could not tell which wines were "aged", simply reading the label does not necessarily guarantee ensure that the absence of such information means that it is not "aged"- staff should have knowledge of the goods on sale."

"It was such a fun experience staying in this historic Inn! The decor maintained the historical feel, and it was a fun place to stay while visiting Glastonbury. We were able to walk everywhere (including to the top of the Tor - which seemed dauting but was not that bad!) For vegetarians - we had a great plant based burger for dinner at the restaurant, and the English Breakfast included in the morning was a very hearty way to start the day. "Really enjoyed our stay. Bedroom large, clean and very comfortable. Biscuits, sweets and peanuts were very welcome. Excellent large clean shower. Breakfast was really good with loads of choice as well. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful."

"A great quirky pub with basic but clean accommodation. Debbie was a wonderful hostess and Neville a fantastic cook. We ate in the carriage of a train which was absolutely fantastic. The food was superb. Stayed for 2 nights as we were visiting Cheddar Gorge. The locals made us feel really welcome and it was a real friendly atmosphere. Would certainly recommend the Inn for a stay."

"Good value hotel about a mile from the city centre. Doors are all combination so there is no worry about losing the key. Room had to be reprogrammed but the staff did this quickly and cheerfully. Very helpful and welcoming."
