Check the weather before booking. It was rainy in February. Great place to explore the wider area, especially Hue and Hoi Han. Da Nang is not lively and not at all sleazy, unlike HCM. Lots of very cheap places to eat and great massages abound.

If you plan to go to Ba Na Hills, be sure to take clothes appropriate for rain and cool weather. Weather was hot and sunny when we left the hotel in Da Nang, but the top of the cable car was cold and wet!

Da Nang is a vibrant city which is growing rapidly, you can choose to stay by the sea or the River and enjoy great food in both areas . It's also only a short drive from Hoi An.

Went on marble mountain and hoi an tour which was good. Also took Han river cruise for 38 minutes and only cost $4.25 usd very reasonable.
