"Knowing a little Spanish is beneficial but not entirely necessary. The staff are extremely helpful and understanding, the grounds are immaculate, the pools are wonderful, the beach views are breathtaking, and they have a little convenience store in case you forget something. The multiple restaurants make it so you'll have something new to try for every meal and the breakfast buffet was a winner for us. They have entertainment scheduled throughout the day, and plenty of wildlife to just walk around and admire. The grounds at night are a must for a romantic stroll and are adequately lit for such an adventure. We never felt unsafe throughout our entire stay. Food and drinks were exceptional. Wife has an allergy and they were more than on top of making sure she was taken care of. Turn around was always fast and they were right there when your plate or glass was empty. Restaurants and bars were easy to find and only a question away. This resort will be one we recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic get away."

"My wife and I recently stayed at Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun for our honeymoon, and I can honestly say that the experience exceeded our expectations. From the beautiful resort and incredible beach to the food, spa, activities, and—most importantly—the people, this was a truly memorable experience. What really set this stay apart was the attention to detail and personalized service. We never felt like just another set of guests. The staff remembered our preferences, anticipated our needs, and consistently made us feel welcomed and appreciated. I want to give a special recognition to Roberto, our room concierge, who was absolutely wonderful. His attentiveness and professionalism made our stay even more comfortable, and he was always there to make sure everything was taken care of. Franco, our pool concierge, also deserves recognition. He was attentive, friendly, and made our time by the pool even more enjoyable. His service was exactly the kind of personalized hospitality that makes a vacation feel special. At Oceana, Giovany provided exceptional service. He was professional, personable, engaging, and incredibly attentive to detail. It was obvious that he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that positive energy came through in the way he treated us. The picaña and coconut shrimp were also fantastic! The pool at Secrets Maroma was absolutely incredible and quickly became one of our favorite parts of the entire stay."

"We had an incredible time. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Everyone at the hotel and throughout the resort is so incredibly kind. The private shuttles for Jungala make it so easy to get around. Daily breakfast at Del Lago was amazing. We were traveling with a 6 year old, so having access to all of the pools at the resort and the water park was so great! Cirque du Soleil on site was definitely a highlight. Excited to return."

"Our group of 8 adults and 8 kids (ages 9 to 16) loved this place. 5 stars! We would stay here again. Things to note: the villa consists of 2 separate units: one with 6 bedrooms and one with 3 bedrooms. They are located right next to each other, but are separate structures. Our group congregated in the larger of the 2 units, which had 2 kitchens and 2 dining rooms and lots of living space.The owner Martin lives on or near the villa, and we saw him each morning. He is friendly and chatty and will assist with anything you might need. Martin had already filled the fridge with cold drinks when we arrived, which was great. The private chef was awesome! We had her prepare 3 meals for the group. The food was fantastic! And there were leftover for lunch the next day, which was great. The subdivision seems a little like a ghost town, with some houses appearing abandoned and others in various stages of being built. Not a lot of people. It is gated, with a security guard. It felt perfectly safe to us. The walk to the beach takes about 3 minutes, and goes by an empty lot that has some trash in it. The beach itself was average, but we enjoyed it. The pool at the villa was great, both for kids playing and adults relaxing.These things noted did not significantly detract from our enjoyment of the vacation. It is a GREAT spot for a group to gather!Thank you Martin for a great rental experience!"

"Miguel is a great host, the villa was beautiful, very clean, maids came in everyday and clean, made our beds and did the dishes. Best part almost every night sea turtles came in and buried the eggs.It was a great family vacation."

"The pictures don’t do justice. Villa Picon is an amazing property right on the beach and the perfect home for a large family. We stayed for a family vacation with a party of 10 and it was perfect. The host coordinated everything very well and the house staff (Nicolas and Anna) took care of all our needs including cooking many meals. I highly recommend and we will stay here again."
