"We had a lovely one night stay in the cottage. Great for self catering and enjoyed having stables outside where we could see the horses. Lots of space and a nice log fire to enjoy. The breakfast was delivered to the cottage at our chosen time and was really tasty. "

Our room overlooked the parking lot with our window directly in front of a parked car We asked to be moved and got a room on the back side facing some greenery but had a passageway for staff hauling noisy laundry carts right outside the window. Hallway rugs are tired and worn. Atmosphere was institutional and soulless. Location is off a round about in the middle of nowhere with poor signage to find the property. "Never heard of Z Hotel before. Am I ever glad I found it. The staff is amazing. Every single one of them. The rooms though small are all that you need. Amazingly luxurious. For the price you can't beat it. 1000 times better than any ABnB but for less money. I wish I had planned my trip better and had spent more time in Bath and therefore would had more time at the Z. "The Apex is in an very good location for walking to sites and restaurants. The staff is excellent and amongst our family we had 3 rooms, which were very clean and comfortable. We had dinner one night at their restaurant which was also very good. We would highly recommend this hotel."

"We stopped over for one night with our two kids and our dog. The staff could not have been more friendly, and they were very helpful in giving us advice about places and events to check out in Bristol. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were glad we had booked one of the rooms with air conditioning as it was a warm night: we had cool air in the bedroom, and thanks to underfloor heating our feet were still nice and warm on the tile floor in the bathroom. We were impressed with how dog friendly the hotel was, with water bowl by the front door and treats on the reception desk. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable time and great value for money. We will be staying again!"
