The property is lovely and very well maintained. The staff is welcoming, thoughtful, and helpful. From Marco and Deepali at the front desk to the waitstaff at the bar and in the dining room, all made us feel comfortable and well-cared for. There is nothing to fault at the Roseate. We would certainly stay again if returning to Bath.

This was a beautiful property in a quiet area opposite Henrietta Park but within minutes of walking to central Bath with its wide variety of restaurants and shopping options. The staff were terrific-courteous, friendly and helpful. There is a cosy bar where you can get lovely cocktails as well as good wines and the usual other drinks. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious. My room was very well decorated in keeping with the heritage nature of the hotel. Lovely Penhaligon products. I intend to stay again. Highly recommend.

The Roseate Villa is charming, well-staffed, across from a beautiful park and within walking distance of Bath's prime attractions. I could walk from the train station. They gave me great recommendations for places to eat. The breakfast was outstanding. Everytime I walked in the door there was someone there to greet me. As a woman travelling alone, I felt at home

Gorgeous property. Perfect location to walk all over Bath. Beautiful garden outside for tea or champagne. Our room was very spacious with a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast fabulous. Staff are great. Walk onto town for fabulous restaurants. Parking onsite whoever gets there first. Wonderful stay. Gorgeous park across the street. Walk to all of the historic sites in Bath.

A cozy place to stay with a great staff. The room was very comfortable. It's a short walk away from a bustling touristy area, so it was nice to have a peaceful haven to walk back to. The only thing that really irked us was that for the price - include breakfast. Charging $23 on top of a $220 room is ridiculous. One does not get that much food for $23; it just comes off stingy.

The property is a well appointed and the meals are good. A few points that others may find useful: - it was 46 steps from the ground to our room. There is no elevator. - there is a GBP 20/day parking charge that isn’t disclosed up front. They “accidentally” attempted to charge this twice for a one night stay. - no airconditioning.

A very nice place to stay in Bath but definitely not a 5-star. Light staffed and low on amenities, the service is great and the room is fine, but there is nothing truly “luxury” in sight. Bed was comfortable enough, but almost too soft and I did notice possible signs of bed bugs. Bath/shower was clean and water pressure was good. Noise insulation wasn’t great - we could hear comings and goings from the bar/breakfast area downstairs. Overall I think this property needs to stop trying to be a 5-star and to embrace its true identity as a quality 4-star stay in a great area of Bath.

Fantastic location that offers parking (at £20/day). Friendly and courteous staff. The room itself is a little dated. The bathroom in the classic double room is London size. There is not suitable table in the room that will fit a laptop, but I guess the hotel is not really going for the modern business vibe anyway. I might also mention that I’m a gold member but didn’t seem to notice any benefits.

A good hotel in a convenient location.

A perfect location if you are visiting to watch the rugby but also very convenient for the Roman Baths, Abbey and all of the pubs and restaurants in the centre of the city. We had a luxury room which was on the ground floor, very spacious and very bright and airy. Note that there is no safe in the room and the temperature control is simply on/off via the radiators. There's a thermostat on the wall but it isn't connected to anything and doesn't work. Parking is available at a cost of £20 per day and the parking spaces are tiny but we had no problems parking. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and very tasty food. Staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. I would use this hotel again if visiting Bath.

Great room with lovely view, very friendly and helpful staff. Shower bit awkward to use and dripped cold water from ‘rain’ head whilst using other head. Great location for seeing sights and shopping, also quiet park on the doorstep.
