"The wife and I wanted to be close to The Battery and Old Town for our 4 day mini-vacation. Holiday Inn Riverview was perfect, just less than 10 minutes away. The view of the river and harbor from our 9th floor room was awesome!! The staff was so courteous and helpful. The restaurant at the top floor was wonderful and again, the view was fantastic. The hotel was clean and everything in order. It was also quiet. The bed was comfy with extra pillows. The ONLY complaint I could have was the elevator floors needed vacuuming but that is such a minor thing. The Holiday Inn Riverview was outstanding and the next time we stay in Charleston, we’ll be back again. "

(Seriously whatever scent they’re piping into the lobby was amazing) Our only complaint was a lack of drawers in our room to put our clothes away, needing to keep our suitcases sprawled open took a little bit of the gloss away from he room. The coffee shop in the lobby has become one of My favorites in town. Well worth the price when it’s a bit higher to be right in the middle of everything with modern amenities. "

"Beautiful spacious room with a balcony . Fully updated but still had an old world charm to it . The bathroom was spotless, bed was super comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome with a complimentary bottle of champagne . The only thing that needed an upgrade was their tv - it was too small for the room and no Netflix etc available. The hotel has an excellent location too, walkable to the waterfront and kings street etc"
