"Buffet offered at The Melba was immaculate. Options for Japanese, Seafood, Chinese, Indian, American, and Dessert made it feel like I was never without a good option. Location on the riverfront was perfect. Always a perfect walking distance to local icons such as Hosier Lane or various waterfront restaurants or shopping venues. Bed comfort was great and room service was consistent and timely - never had to call to remind them to tend to dirty linens or restock the in-room bar"
"Really liked staying here as the property was very convenient for my visit. Very handy to shopping and walking to the city. Staff were very efficient and friendly. The food at the restaurant was very good. "
"It was wonderful, I had a toddler with me and they were so great with him. Highly recommend the breakfast, wasn't as huge a fan of the dumplings but the rest was SO good. Dinner wasn't great but it was nice to have room service. The koala mousse is wonderful if you peel back the koala "fur" to the mousse. Excellent. The place was clean and they give you extras of everything, loved the laundry service too, that was super convenient. The pool was cold but hot tub was hot. The gym is fantastic, they have a spin studio too!! So great. It's close to great shops and the train station and the free tram and walking distance to many tourist attractions like the Melbourne museum and parks and the waterfront. "
