"The house was beautiful, very thoughtfully and beautifully fitted throughout and a joy to live there. My only problem was the gate as I am under 5' tall and very old and had great difficulty letting myself in and out but everything else was perfect for both young and old. "

"I don't think there is a better view in Polruan! House was very clean, but figuring out the heating can be a challenge. Property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to my call. Highly recommend this house and will rent it again if its available next year."

"Property was exactly as described, but what made it extra special was the little touches provided by the owners. On arrival, a traditional cream tea and a bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us as well as tea, coffee and a little carton of milk so no need to dash to the shop. The first evening the owners lit tea lights in lanterns leading to the front door. All very sweet and thoughtful. Very peaceful location but very easy access to Mevagissey and Fowey. "We had a lovely long weekend weekend staying at Guinevere. The house is beautifully decorated and was really well set up for the 6 of us to have plenty of space. The location is super - right in the centre of Fowey and walking distance from the beach. We had some lovely walks from here along the coastal path and took the ferry to Polruan for a walk to Lantic Bay. The seagulls were quite noisy but the earplugs provided worked a treat so we all slept well!"
