"well laid out with excellent surroundings to relax. Charmion and Charles take good care of the property and the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The wood burner is an excellent addition and its really nice to have the animals to feed sometimes! There is also a nice collection of books and DVDs to help keep you occupied on a rainy day, and the cottage is perfectly situated to visit lots of towns that surround it.You need to be fairly confident driving as the roads to and from the property can be a bit hair raising if you're not used to tight spaces. The matress on the main bed and the pillows could possibly do with a upgrade or replacement, but this could be more of a personal thing to us. We would definitely return. "

"We walked in and looked at each room and my wife exclaimed 'I LOVE it'. There were fresh scones with jam and clotted cream for us to eat, which was delicious. There was also food to feed the farm animals, which we enjoyed. My wife is still giggling about the instructions for feeding the pig. Everything was clean and there was plenty of room. We were able to do laundry, which was a bonus. Great stay."

"We had a lovely holiday. We loved the house and the log burners. The two reception rooms were great with the wide variety of ages we had. Perfect enclosed courtyard for dogs. Great communication from start to finish from Christine. Good amenities just a few doors down - cafe, pub with food, butchers (although this was closed during our stay).
