"We had a great 3 day stay at the Farmers Arms. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a fantastic breakfast everyday. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, there were tea and coffee making facilities which were replenished every day. St Merryn is a beautiful village with Harlyn and Constantine being some of the best beaches in the country in my opinion. We will definitely be heading back soon."

"If what you are looking for is a boring, soulless establishment where every room is the same, like you get in a Holiday Inn, Travelodge or Premier Inn then this is not for you. What you do get is a personal service from a friendly couple who know their stuff and make you very welcome. This is a 350 year old cottage where every room is different but nonetheless exceptionally clean and comfortable. Plus the breakfasts are excellent and cater for all tastes, even non carnivores."

"We loved the room that we stayed in. It was recently decorated in greys and pastel pinks. The room felt spacious and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was large with a separate bath and shower. The full English breakfast was cooked to order and as you would expect but I would have liked the option of fruit or rolls or pastries. The owner was courteous and friendly. The cooker, decking and downstairs ensuite shower need some tlc but that didn’t effect usage or us having a fantastic time. Will definitely be coming back!"
