"The Bodmin Jail Hotel was amazing, really well presented and the history has been preserved brilliantly. During our stay we did the after dark ghost tour which again was an amazing experience our guide Kee was very knowledgeable and friendly, overall I would highly recommend a visit to either the hotel or the attraction"

"Had an excellent week at Hendra Barn. It's in a great location for exploring the north Cornish coast and also going inland. Incredibly spacious upstairs with lovely views. The kitchen is well set out and had everything we needed for cooking a few meals. Great wifi and a smart TV. Our dog loved having a floor length window to look out. Set on a working farm but apart from a few tractors we were completely undisturbed. It's far enough off the road not to hear any traffic noise but not at all isolated. There were young lambs in the field out the front of the cottage which we enjoyed watching and have never seen so many swallows! Met the farmer when we arrived and mistakenly parked on the wrong side of the building. He was so friendly and welcoming and proceeded to show us round the barn. Any queries were answered promptly and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Lovely biscuits provided when we arrived!"

"Lovely hotel just off the Saints Way and they are really welcoming to walkers. Excellent breakfast, best eggs we had on the trip. Just a few minutes walk from a pub and chippy for an evening meal, these are on the Saints Way so you can eat before checking in and save yourself the extra steps. The building is old and historically interesting. The gardens are lovely to enjoy your coffee in"

"It was a very lovely location, well-situated for visiting various places in the county. Charles was very welcoming and friendly, and the freshly made scones from Charmion were lovely! My child loved feeding the animals.We liked the cottage and felt at home very quickly. It was well-furnished and we were grateful for the "starter" items supplied in the fridge.We only had a few (minor) gripes. The first concerned the bathroom basin taps: because they are not mixer taps, it meant handling very cold and scaldingly hot water simultaneously. My child decided to use only the cold water tap, as it was too difficult for them.The second very minor point was that a few more shelves in the bathroom and bedroom would have been very handy. The wardrobe does not have many shelves, so unless you already have hangers in your suitcase, it will be difficult to place many items in the wardrobe.But, overall, these were minor points and we had an unforgettable stay. :)"

"A beautiful cottage in the best location! It has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful family holiday. The cottage is spacious and has lots of room for big groups. My morning cup of tea in the courtyard listening to the birds was bliss! Great communication with the host. An absolute recommend!"
