"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."

The building is just old and worn. The vent in the bathroom was loud. Carpet in the room was old. The interior was lack lustre. Sound proofing of the room was weak. The pool area was enjoyable and staff were friendly and helpful "

"The location is great. Just a short walk and you are the shoreline of Lake Taupo. Most rooms have a view of the lake from the balcony. Room is large. Ours had a jacuzzi tub. The property also has a thermal heated pool year round. Great to soak in after a days drive."

Close to Cuba St, the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on, the cutest robes, the best snacks and goodies (complimentary!!) and the styling is to diiie for. I enjoyed every minute. "
