"We always stay at the Lagonita, its right on the lake, which is great. The full kitchens are very convenient. Fireplace in each unit. Not far from the village. Very quiet and peaceful. They have activities, you can rent boats and they have a boat tour of the lake you can take. The parking situation is good. The staff are always helpful. Only drawback is no air conditioning, but they give you a fan lol. Its never bothered us, better to breath in the fresh mountain air."

"This was an ideal location and the property management company was very responsive and we loved the view and the hot tub was amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped with really nice cooking and dish-ware. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was comfortable. However, there were some concerns. As a family of 4, we were a bit cramped. Luckily we spent most of our time on the water and the deck. We were not able to take advantage of the lower deck with the lake access or dock even after they cleared all the overgrowth. This property could better advertised the air conditioning unit. They had provided a window AC unit, upstairs only. Since the temperatures were high 80’s we didn’t have any issues once we opened up windows. I would also recommend they consolidate the remotes, the large number of them can be very confusing. We suggest a window covering of some sort for the downstairs bedroom, nothing is currently there to maintain privacy or shade."

"We found the perfect place to decompress! The house is charming with good view from the deck. The grill included puts a nice touch to it. It was a warm week when we stayed so the AC in the second floor was a very good addition. The place is super cozy.Jennifer (host) was super responsive. She recommended places although we didn’t go to a lot of it since just being in the house is vacation itself. She also went above and beyond in helping me when I needed my jewelry (that I accidentally left behind) to be mailed. Simple act that I truly appreciated! I recommend this place 1000%!"

"Wonderful stay! There was plenty of space for a large family gathering. We definitely got a work out with the 3 flights of stairs. All the amenities were great, played plenty of pool and had an amazing time with the watercraft. Huge kitchen that was perfect for cooking up a storm. It can get a little hot in the summer, and no AC so break out the fans! They have plenty available in all living locations. If you're looking to explore Big Bear or chill in an amazing house for a week/weekend this is the place."

"This house is in great location. We had two families staying together and with the bunk beds it was great! All the extra activities with pool table and shuffle board. And out side kayaks, peddle board. There was so much to do. Great location being in a cove to let the kids explore. The hot tub was a hit! The kitchen could use a deep clean but other than that would stay again."
