"What’s not to say. This was absolutely as advertised. Views were picturesque. Access to trails, Village Center were great. The house itself was clean and comfortable. We arrived later than expected, but access was a breeze. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Extra treat was sitting outside in the evening and being entertained by the eagles and a couple of ravens. That lake view was memorable. Thank you so much for sharing this treasure."

Super Clean. Stocked with Everything you need. Wood Burning Fireplace off the Kitchen was our Favorite Hang Spot. Boat Dock Available. Pet Friendly for 20 Pounds and under. "Great stay!PROS: Living room and view were amazing! Everything felt very clean. Beds and vibe were super comfortable. We ended up staying in the house more than we thought we would because the vibes were so great. Check-in was easy and host was very responsive. CONS: The kitchen and bathroom felt a little dated compared to the rest of the house, but everything still felt very clean.OVERALL: Highly recommend. The main living space was great and the loft and tall ceilings made the space feel huge. For the price, this is a very good value.Thanks again for the great stay!"

"The driveway is VERY steep so an elderly couple might have issues parking and maneuvering the steep stairs. It was fine for us. We had an ant issue the first day but the management company was quick to respond. Someone had thrown a bag of scattered trash in the back of the property so management company cleaned that up. The shower handle in the upstairs bathroom was broken so we showered downstairs. The window frames were very dusty / spider webs with dead bugs and we learned very quickly not to leave the outside patio lights on when entering the cabin unless you wanted an invasion of bugs attracted to the lights. We loved the view and the location was perfect for our stay. The kitchen was well supplied and the inside furniture was comfortable. The outside wicker furniture was broken (especially on the upstairs back patio). We would stay again."

"This lovely property provided us a quiet and peaceful escape from the city. The historic feel of the property adds to its overwhelming charm. The location is perfect as it's tucked back in the bay but still offers amazingly beautiful views. There are plenty of stairs so if mobility is an issue this might not be the place for you. We loved that there are bedrooms on every floor so we could spread out for some privacy. The beds were comfy and the solitude of the outdoors made sleeping comfortably easy. Big Bear has so many activities available and this cabin was close to it all. I would love to visit again on a future trip and spend my time on the patio gazing at the lake and its surrounding wildlife. (We spent quite a while photographing a heron nesting in a nearby tree. Spectacular!) This cabin feels like home and I'm grateful we got to spend time there making memories with our family."
