Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. really went the extra mile for you. Rooms were clean with very comfy beds. Right next to the seafront whilst avoiding the noise that the main street brings.

Hotel was spotlessly clean. Paul and Yvette were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. My husband had a cooked breakfast every morning and he said it was the best breakfast he had. Will hopefully return next year.

Very experienced hoteliers. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were just right. Perfectly placed for easy access to all atractions yet placed in a quiet area away from pubs and amusements. Highly recommend

From the minute we arrived we were taken care of. Nothing is too much trouble for Paul and Yvette, they are both warm and welcoming. Our room had a very unexpected seaview and was tastefully decorated with a great bed that was so comfortable, we both slept soundly. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. An absolute pleasure. Fabulous weekend break.
We stayed at Wellington hotel from 19th August to 21st August 2022 and had a fabulous time. Hotel was quiet during our stay so there was no bar service, but there is plenty to keep you entertained in Blackpool. We stayed in room 6 which was spotless and the bed was comfortable. We had a delicious hot cooked breakfast both mornings and throughout our stay the owners Paul and Evette made you feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Quiet oasis in the madness of Blackpool
Stayed for a festival and very impressed. Lovely hosts, spotless room with the basic amenities you need with a great breakfast every morning. While only a few steps off the main Promenade this hotel is very quiet which is ideal when you want to switch off from the hustle and bustle of Blackpool. Very close to the tram as well for those with restricted mobility.

A really enjoyable stay
Really enjoyed our stay. Paul and Yvette were really lovely, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The family room was big enough for 3, with a good shower and the breakfast was great. Location was good, being just a few steps back from the promenade and about halfway between the tower and the Pleasure Beach. Be aware, on street parking is extremely limited. We got lucky and got parked about 200 yards up the street but at busier times this would probably be unlikely. WiFi isn’t strong and didn’t really connect at all in the room. Not a big deal though. If you can sort parking, I’d definitely recommend the hotel for convenience and value.

From start to finish was brilliant. Room was clean and tidy. All beds where comfortable. Staff where so nice even took time to learn all of our names including the kids. They definitely know how to make scrambled egg if was absolutely smashing .

This is a little gem. The owners can’t do enough for you. Helped us in with our luggage parked our car up as there was no room at the front, the room smelt clean and lovely, breakfast was great even gave my son a birthday card. Nothing is too much trouble we definitely use again. Thank you so much.

Blackpool at it's best.
Had a lovely few days at this nice, friendly hotel. Wonderful hosts who did everything to make it a happy stay. Nice en-suite room with a gorgeous breakfast. Great position, only about 80 mtrs to the seafront. I would happily return.

Weekend Break
Very pleasant stay. We had a lovely clean family room on the top floor, breakfast was excellent and Paul and Yvette couldn’t be more helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here and will certainly mention The Wellington to anyone I know for a stay in Blackpool.

Really lovely hotel I travelled as a lone parent with my 2 kids and the 2 owners are very hard working , friendly and accommodating . The hotel is very well situated ( within walking distance to all the major attractions ) The hotel was very clean and well maintained and in a lovely quite street but yet yards from all the bars and restaurants, so you get the best of both worlds . Lovely wee bar , pool table , lounge . Lovely cooked breakfast (compliments to the chef ) All in all I really could not fault this place and I will be back and will also be spreading the word to my friends and family.

My husband, children (aged 4 and 6) and I stayed 01-03.11.13. We had never stayed in Blackpool before and went off ratings and reviews. It is seconds from the promenade (about 10 minutes walk from Blackpool Tower) where parking is challenging to find but the Hotel had limited parking which we availed of. Even though located near to the promenade it was quiet and a room at the front. Ron and Yvette were extremely welcoming. The Hotel appeared to have been recently decorated and new carpet throughout. It was very clean with no smoking allowed. We stayed in a family room which wasn't massive but it was fine for our purposes as we were out all day. There was a small flatscreen TV which could be swung out so my husband and I could watch it when we were in bed. Wifi is advertised but we didn't manage to get a connection though we tried only the one (perhaps we needed to ask about how to connect?). There were plenty of fluffy white towels and a small bar of soap provided. Dietary requirements were catered for. Very good value. I'm almost reluctant to share how lovely our stay was incase we never get a chance to stay again due to being full but not to would be a discredit to Ron and Yvette!

I Stayed Friday to Monday with my daughter and grandaughter. Our room was lovely and nicely decorated, lovely white fluffy towels and tea and coffee facilities. Our breakfast was great and everywhere was spotless, it was a joy to stay there. The proprietor's were lovely and couldn't do enough to help us. Would recommend to family and friends.

We found Paul and Yvette to be very friendly hosts. The hotel is perfectly located for all the local attractions. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was adequate and the most telling thing about the Wellington was that almost all of the other guests had been to the hotel many times. It was our first visit, but certainly not our last.

Lovely Guest House
Great location great welcome from both Paul and Yvette. Hotel is midway between Pleasure Beach and Tower making it an ideal base for everyone. The breakfast and service was excellent and both adults and grandchildren enjoyed our stay. We would not hesitate to recommend Wellington Guest House to all who wants a Blackpool holiday.WE WILL BE BACK :)

this hotel is central and is great as it is possible to walk to both pleasure beach and the tower. The owners were very helpful,they parked our car so we didnt incur any car park fees and as it was very wet weather they put our wetcoats in their tumble dryer,which was very kind and thoughtful.The cooked breakfast was very tasty and there was a wide range of cereal.Tea and coffee facilities were fine.We enjoyed our 2 night stay and would return here.

Does what it says on the tin!
Of the thousands of B&B hotels in Blackpool, you could definitely do worse. Hotel was located just off the promenade and only a short walk to the beach and attractions. Despite no on-site parking, the hotel is comfortable, clean and the service friendly and courteous. The owners actually care that you have a decent experience and it shows. If you want a decent place to stay in Blackpool that won't break the bank, this is the place.
