"This is a very well kept hotel with amazingly friendly and supportive staff. The room was cleaned daily. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate but did not cater to vegans. You need a car to stay at this hotel because it is miles out of the city of Oxford. There is road construction outside, but you do not hear it in the rooms. I would stay at this hotel again."

Perfect location for the city centre and colleges, but no facilities, food, bar etc. Room was perfectly clean and en suite was nice, but small and with old fashioned furnishings. Instant tea and coffee in room, but minimalist. Air con didnt work, too warm and room very noisy from street with window open Perfectly adequate for an overnight stay, but oversold"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Lords of the Manor. The house is absolutely beautiful and the ground surrounding it are classic picturesque countryside. Lovely walk through upper and lower slaughter. We had dinner at the restaurant which was a bit too fancy and pricey for our tastes but the staff were lovely and very kind. The room was wonderful for the night and I would recommend it!"
