"Warmest of welcomes and a lovely clean room, well appointed but lacking a tv 🤔. Good in the restaurant was excellent and as I was leaving early, a takeaway breakfast was kindly offered. "

"What a great night at the Catherine wheel. We met Debbie when we checked in and she was so warm and friendly she made everything very easy for us. The room was clean, modern and very quaint. The food was outstanding in the restaurant with a good menu selection. There were 11 of us for dinner and you could tell everything was fresh and home made the pie was especially incredible. Thank you Catherine wheel we will be back again!! "

"Pictures do not do this gem of a place justice. Check in was a breeze, the pub is quirky, but the accommodation was fantastic, quiet, comfortable and clean....all wrapped up in a 300 year old stone building. Such a beautiful spot, probably our fave and would love to return."

"The staff is very friendly. They treated us as family. The room is smal but cosy. A few nice restaurant is located around. We enjoyed ‘namaste’(Nepal food) and ‘kopitiam’ (Malaysian food) nearby."
