"Location was good, check in/out was easy. Facilities are a bit dated but otherwise fine for a short stay."

"Service was excellent, food was great, Common lounge areas were comfortable, our room had fantastic lake views but the resort itself generally needs updating."

"Wonderful stay in peaceful surroundings with a great view down into Rotorua. Close enough with a car to all the local attractions but far enough away from the busy town centre. Lovely breakfast, very comfortable room and even managed to find time for the hot tub! Would highly recommend! "

"Excellent hotel in a great location in Tauranga. Not much to do in Tauranga but if you find yourself there, then this hotel is a gem - excellent quality and condition and really good value for money. Would definitely stay here again. "

"An old but well maintained and nicely decorated in old english style. Room is spacious except bedroom a bit squeeze but bed is comfortable. Only setback was the bathroom washing basin have separate hot and cold tap."
