"Such a lovely historic ryokan experience, our first ever!! The inn is old and rustic which gives the feeling of going.back in time. The onsen mineral bath experience was worth trying, but reserve a private one if you want to enjoy with your companions instead of other travelers. Our room Had no bathroom, so toilet is down the hall and showers in the onsen rooms. Our corner room has lots of windows/screens that open up to the sounds of the river below. "The hosts were amazing. Totally went above and beyond! I was offered to be driven to Omurayama. They also offered to drive me back but I opted for the bus (for the experience!) Also, I was super impressed by one of the female workers speaking so many languages! I'm also a super picky eater but the traditional breakfast was amazing. Last but not least, when I checked out I was given the offer to drive me to the station. They're just such lovely and kind people!"
