"The home is very spacious, clean, and fully stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The location is perfect… close to some great dining options, minutes to historic downtown, and steps away from the beach. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and perfect for quick walks with the pup. Our trip was planned pretty last minute, but everything was seamless and easy from the booking to post check out. The Host could not have been better… great communication throughout the whole process, easy steps to follow and very quick to respond with any questions. We very much enjoyed our stay."

Vilano Beach ~ Oceanfront Home ~ Private Walkover!

"House was in a great location right on beach and close to shopping. House was well stocked with dishes, glasses, and serving pieces. But house itself needs maintenance, upkeep ant the least but could use updating as well. Lights in kitchen are not working. We checked breaker then notified the girl putting trash can out. No one showed before we left. Piece of art on wall in stairwell when we arrived was so warped we couldn’t walk by without knocking it off the wall. So we removed it from the wall and put it in the garage. TV in living room is going out. The screen is dark and very blue. My techie sons tried to fix but said TV problem. When we asked property management prior to arrival if there was a grill, manager did not know and said only if someone left one. That’s something they should know. And if things are working properly. So we brought a small one, but there were two large Weber grills and a gas grill (not sure if gas grill works). Beach chairs were falling apart and should be replaced. When we check out we’re supposed to start the towels and the remaining dishes, but management does not provide any laundry soap or dishwasher soap. Luckily we brought some with us. Door to furnace has a vent that is very dirty. We rent vacation homes every year and compared to others in this price point this one is in rough shape and needs some TLC. Love St Augustine though and plan to go back some time!"

"This place was so lovely and the owner was amazing and so sweet and welcoming! there was so much stuff in the house to use and perfect for a weekend getaway. The only thing was i think there was mold or something just in the complex because we all got super stuffy and sick after… so that might be something worth checking out"

"Manager is rude and unhelpful. Construction all around hotel. No beach access due to wooden walkway cut in half. No elevator. Not ADA compliant. Difficult to enter and exit due to Construction. No spa services eventho it is on description of hotel."

"This is an excellent place to stay. Very well maintained, and peaceful location. The customer service was astounding, and the staff and owner took great personal care to ensure that our stay was a great experience. Clean, convenient, and welcoming atmosphere. Close proximity to restaurants, grocery, and beach access. We will definitely be returning in the future, highly recommend staying here."

"The unit appeared to have been surface cleaned, but overall it still felt dirty. The air conditioner, vents, and exhaust fans do not seem to have been cleaned in quite some time.The beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable for sleeping. Access to the beach requires walking over a very steep, sandy, uneven dune, which was difficult for us even though we are in good shape for our mid-60s. We eventually chose to walk a couple of blocks north and use the public beach access instead to avoid the dune.The shower is advertised as having a small entrance, but that description is an understatement.On the positive side, the air conditioner worked very well, the smart TV functioned properly, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The unit was also well stocked with essentials including trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, bath towels, and washcloths.We were informed there was a laundry area, but we were unable to locate it. Also, despite the listing, you cannot see the beach from the room because it is located on the opposite side of a very tall sand dune.For the price, at least a partial ocean view would have been nice."
