"The Inn was in the historic district within walking distance of old town shops and St. George Street. A tour trolley stop is right across the street. The room was very well furnished and it felt like we were stepping into the past. The full complimentary breakfast was amazing. Compliments to the chef. The staff was also very friendly. Five stars."

"We were very happy with Southern Oaks Inn. It was conveniently located, easy to find and had a free shuttle to the historic district. Our room looked like it was recently renovated and clean. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well. The free breakfast was wonderful! Eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, grits, some fruit, coffee & orange juice. We wish we were staying more than one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. And they had the best price that I could find. Will definitely stay...
