"The ryokan and the area surrounding it was absolutely beautiful. The staff are very kind and will take the time to assist as much as possible, even with the language barrier. Breakfast and dinner is included. A free shuttle is available for pickup/dropoff between 2 stations at certain times, inquire when making the reservations. The room with private bath is absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely visit again."

"What a beautiful experience in a real, traditional atmosphere! I loved the Owner’s philosophy of carrying on traditions by means of making it relevant for each generation. The attention to detail in the architecture, design, even the sogetsu ikebana flower arrangements, and of course, the seasonally unique kaiseki meal, was wonderful. "I checked in half an hour earlier before official check-in. The room is in the Japanese style, huge, clean, beautiful. The hotel has 2 onsens, one on the 1-st floor and another on the 10-th floor. "The place was great. Best thing was the staff. They were so nice and accommodating. I was late for my check in but the staff helped me by waiting to still serve me dinner when I got there. They were waiting out front for me and helped me out all with everything. They were the nicest people. The facilities were great too. Food was delicious. The room was lovely. The onsen was relaxing. I'm very happy with my stay there."

"This property does take some effort to get to. But the stay was pleasant. Buffet was delicious and onsen baths were amazing. The ryokan experience is very interesting and comfortable for us. Staff were very helpful. One thing to mention is it is not very tattoo-friendly. They politely ask you to cover tattoos in common areas, including restaurants."

"The property is outstanding and the staff are very willing to help if you are amenable to no chairs in the room and only sitting on the floor. Also the room has no shower, so you either must use shower during your private time or if you miss you time slot you have no choice but to use it during public time. For ladies two showers, so at worse you will share with one other person."
