"Excellent hosts. Rooms very clean and well maintained. You need to be comfortable sleeping on tatami mat floor on a futon but it was part of the experience in visiting Japan for us. We did not try the food as we wanted to explore the cuisine in the town. Great location that was walkable to many sites and the shopping district and easily accessible to transit."

"I checked in half an hour earlier before official check-in. The room is in the Japanese style, huge, clean, beautiful. The hotel has 2 onsens, one on the 1-st floor and another on the 10-th floor. "The hotel was beautiful with all the amenities you could need. This was our first time in a traditional Japanese style room and it was such a fun experience. The onsens were great and the reservation system easy to use. Dining was special and we loved the food. Getting to do a little laundry in their facilities was an added bonus. Staff was eager to help and made us feel welcome and comfortable the entire stay."

The staff are so friendly and accommodating and the entire place is very very clean, only complaint is the beds are very uncomfortable for a forigners standards the futon cushion is almost non existent and you will feel like sleeping on hard floor with an uncomfortable pillow.. but otherwise amazing experence! "The place was great. Best thing was the staff. They were so nice and accommodating. I was late for my check in but the staff helped me by waiting to still serve me dinner when I got there. They were waiting out front for me and helped me out all with everything. They were the nicest people. The facilities were great too. Food was delicious. The room was lovely. The onsen was relaxing. I'm very happy with my stay there."

The property was bigger than I thought it would be. The setting was peaceful. It was exactly what I was looking for. My only recommendation is that the shuttle from the train station should have a sign with the name of the property. "
