Great service, room and location
"A great room for a good price. It is a ryokan so expect a traditional Japanese straw floor room, however it was a much larger room than I expected. The service was great and the owner speaks very good English so communication was easy. Communal bathing (not mixed!) was a nice experience and clean ..."

Very relaxing stay
"Very relaxing stay at a seaside traditional ryokan. Service excellent, with English-speaking staff. Roof-top onsen is a unique feature overlooking the shipping lane for Nagoya. Both meals excellent. Very clean and quiet. Traditional Japanese room very spacious, futon beds very comfortable. Rock garden-like ..."
"The hotel is situated 200 mts far from the beach. They have inflatable toys/ donut like that they lend them at NO cost. If you are traveling with little ones they also have sand toys . We chose a western room. It is spacious and clean. Has air conditioning and towels, fridge, table, etc. The hotel ..."
"It’s located in the center of Sakae, easy walk from the subway lines, and everything is around this hotel. I found it funny how body wash, shampoo, conditioner bottles get randomly swapped positions— I’m sure this isn’t intentional but something to look out for (don’t be like me who accidentally put body wash on my hair thinking it was shampoo). other than that, everything you need is in this hotel! Very clean! Friendly staff! "

"Front desk helped me out and were very accommodating even though I don't speak Japanese. Breakfast was delicious with westerner options buffet style. All the major attractions are within walking distance. "

"I've stayed at ibis hotels in Europe and they were good. This one is newer and very nice. Clean, roomy compared to other similar hotels in Japan. No bathtub but that was not important as people rarely use them in hotels anyway. Parking was secure, but a little inconvenient because i needed hotel staff to unlock gate anytime i needed to get to my car. Staff friendly and pleasant. I would stay here again."
