What a wonderful stay. We hiked in from the Kobe area and the staff were so accommodating in helping us get from the top of Mt. Rokko to Arima. It was the exact pampering we needed after a long hard hike

Incredible place that gave our family a wonderful experience of traditional Japan. The property is pristine and museum-like. For our family with teens, one night was perfect. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We are very glad we booked this property and made the trip, even though it was off our path. Wonderful stay, the rooms are beautiful and well appointed. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding; taste, quality and presentation exceeded our expectations. They provide a yukata as well as toothbrush, hairbrush and razors with shaving cream. The private onsen was a great experience, both the silver and gold baths are fantastic, very few people when we used it and one time was just for us. Very attentive and helpful staff at the front desk. Highly recommended.

Decent traditional ryokan, which is fully equipped and it's the reason why it's pricey. Staffs were nice and always offer to help, though every requirement I asked would be charged and billed. Onsen is relatively small, but adequate. If you don't wanna add up dinner, there is a good restaurant near by the ryokan.

"My stay at the ryokan was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warm hospitality, making us feel at home right away. We also enjoyed the kaiseki dinner, which was a feast for the senses, beautifully presented and delicious. Fantastic Onsen Ryokan

This is very authentic Onsen-Ryokan but has convenient electronic features such like room can be locked key-less. All remotes in the room are packed in disposable cases. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Inside courtyard garden is well treated. Bath tubs have natural hot springs which was we looked for this trip. I strongly recommend, and will come again for next chance.
